We have a great team behind our business who help us deliver the highest quality turf, grass, and lawn products to the Fraser Coast Region. Other areas we deliver to include Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gympie, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Gladstone, and Yeppoon. With over 35 years of experience, you can trust that we have it covered!

We supply a wide range of lawns to suit all from Tahoma 31, Sir Walter, Zoysia Japonica, Zoysia Matrella, Empire Zoysia and Wintergreen Couch. We have the latest and most efficient machinery for harvesting, cutting, and mowing, which gives our farm a leading edge. We are excited to bring the latest technology in digital-controlled pivot harvesters with our 2 Firefly Automatix to the Bay giving Turfworks Group the ability to offer superior efficiency and certain continuity of supply. In addition, we do medium to large projects such as Stolonizing and Sports field rejuvenation.

We have a dedicated team with a reputation for high quality turf, professionalism, reliable service and efficient turn-around ordering system. We offer a measure and quote service and advise of what varieties would best suit your yard. We offer family-friendly information over the phones and professional advice on delivering. Being only 10 minutes from Hervey Bay our customers can come right to our door – it’s like a Grass Cellar Door. They can sample, look and feel the different varieties of lawn in our lawn plots and/or see the turf varieties growing in the field. Our Office/ Shop is fully stocked with all lawn products to give them the all-round A1 turf package. We offer a unique service using our pallet-less delivery system. Our pallets remain on our trucks, while forklifts remove the grass. We then place the turf as close as possible to the area being turfed. This means you do not have to worry about the removal of wooden pallets.

Peter has been involved in agriculture for 40 years and in that time has set up 3 turf farms. Turfworks Group was first established under Peter in 2003 and has grown to a capacity of 80 hectares of turf. During this time, Turfworks Group has trialled and grown many varieties to establish the best grasses for these regions. We have grown to be the leading turf producer in the Wide Bay/Burnett region.
